Could the MTG THE ONE RING be the card that becomes king of the mountain in Magic The Gathering, surpassing all other cards as THE MOST EXPENSIVE Magic card of all time?
I think the Magic community will be BLOWN AWAY when they finally see this card in the open market. BUT, here’s the catch….someone has to find it because there is ONLY ONE BEING PRINTED!
THE ONE RING from the upcoming Magic: The Gathering The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth is poised to become the all time greatest lottery card to ever hit the trading game market. Since there will only be one serialized card printed, all eyes will be on this product until that lucky person hits the jackpot and finds this card in a pack!
So lets dive into this card and get to know it. The set hasn’t even hit shelves yet and many are saying this card will be worth a ton so lets see what it will be worth once I find it! YES I WILL FIND IT!! HAHAHAHAHA

Magic: The Gathering fans and Lord of the Rings enthusiasts alike are eagerly anticipating the release of the upcoming “The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth” set, which is set to hit shelves later this month, June 2023. One of the most exciting aspects of this set is the inclusion of a serialized card known as “The One Ring.”
What Are Serialized Cards?
For those who may be unfamiliar with Magic: The Gathering, serialized cards are a relatively new addition to the game. These cards feature a unique serial number that is printed on the card itself, making each one a one-of-a-kind item.

The card, as you would suspect, is based on the iconic ring from J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings trilogy.
The ring plays a central role in the story as as Frodo Baggins and his companions venture out to destroy it to save Middle Earth from the evil and treacherous Sauron. But unlike the real ring, this soon to be spectacular card was not forged in the fires of Mount Doom….or was it??
Could it be that Wizards of the Coast/Hasbro and Sauron are now plotting to destroy the…….wait, I’m not going there. Let’s get back to the story of the card…..
The card features stunning artwork that depicts the ring in all its dark glory, surrounded by swirling flames and ominous shadows. It is truly a masterpiece with amazing artwork by illustrator and concept artist Veli Nyström.
Although there are other versions of this card, this serialized ONE OF ONE (1/1) card will be the big one to find. No doubt, this will be a high 7-figure card in no time….if it can be found!
Gameplay of MTG The One Ring – A Massively Powerful Gamechanging Card
In terms of gameplay, “The One Ring” is a powerful artifact card that allows its owner to control the game in a number of ways. When the card is played, the player who controls it gains control of all other artifacts and creatures that are currently on the battlefield.
This means that “The One Ring” can be used to turn the tide of a game in a dramatic way, allowing its owner to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Of course, as with any powerful card, there is a downside to playing “The One Ring.” In this case, the card comes with a heavy cost – the player who controls it must sacrifice it at the end of their turn, or lose the game.
This means that players will need to use “The One Ring” wisely, and carefully time its use to maximize its impact.
MTG “THE ONE RING” – What’s It Worth?
There is no doubt this card could end up being one of the most valuable Magic cards to ever be printed. Collector Dan Bock is said to have offered $100,000 for it but the well known online retailer Dave & Adam’s recently raised the bounty to $1,000,000! YES, ONE MILLION DOLLARS!
But wait, the offers haven’t stopped!
A Spanish gaming store Gremio de Dregones has jumped into the mix and apparently they’re now offering 2 million euros for THE ONE RING card, which equates to $2.1M USD.
The shop is also offering to fly whoever finds the card to Valencia Spain and pay for their accommodations when they deliver the card. So not a bad offer, right?
Obviously this will be a highly sought after card. How much it will eventually be worth is anyone’s guess but so far we have some legit 7-figure offers for this one of a kind gem.
Collector box prices are sure to rise with this news. So if you can get your hands on some below the $500 range, you might be in good shape.
THE ONE RING is certainly going to push values of these boxes and packs up over time and the longer the card remains hidden in packs, the higher those box prices will go.
