As you’ll see below, the Kamigawa Collector Booster Box has been selling fairly well around the average price of $209.68 for some time now. Prices are always fluctuating based on the market conditions but this is about the average you can expect to pay (shipping included.)
Is The Kamigawa Collector Booster Box A Good Long Term Investment?
I think long term, a sealed (unopened) Kamigawa Neon Dynasty Collector Booster Box is a good investment. Average price increases are typically in the 5-10% range with percentage increases getting higher the older the booster box.
So in other words you might expect prices to increase by 5-10% annually for the next few years but 10-20 years from now that percentage may increase.
It’s rare to lose money when Investing in sealed booster boxes over a long period of time. If you’re looking to flip for quick cash, booster boxes are probably not the way to go unless you got them cheap. But over many years, booster boxes always tend to gain in value.
Scarcity plays a huge role in booster box prices. The more scarce the booster box, the better the chances the price will increase over time.
For Collector Booster Boxes like Kamigawa Neon Dynasty, there are far fewer of these on the market as Wizards/Hasbro simply does not print large quantities.
So it’s scarce from the get-go and over time we’ll probably see quantities on the open market dwindle. That’s a recipe for a good investment.
